Stronger Together: Celebrating the Team Behind Lexi's Legacy Benefit

This past weekend, The Giving Purpose Project hosted the Fourth Annual Lexi’s Legacy Benefit, and I’m still overwhelmed with gratitude for what we accomplished. Events like this don’t come together by chance—they are built through the dedication, heart, and passion of a team. And let me just say, I am truly blessed to have an amazing group of women standing beside me every step of the way.

From the early planning stages to the final moments of the event, these incredible women showed up in ways that inspire me daily. Wendy Albertini, Cara Barrett, Monica Socks, and Pamela Resurreccion are the heart and soul of this organization. They are problem solvers, encouragers, and doers who pour their hearts into every detail. Whether it’s organizing logistics, rallying support, or stepping in to handle last-minute surprises, their commitment and strength are the backbone of our success.

The Lexi’s Legacy Benefit was more than just a fundraiser; it was a celebration of the impact we can make when we unite around a shared purpose. Every person who contributed, from our volunteers to the donors and attendees, played an integral role in honoring Lexi’s memory and furthering our mission.

To Wendy, Cara, Monica, and Pamela: you are my heroes. Your unwavering support, not just for this cause but for me personally, is a gift I cherish beyond words. Together, we’ve done something extraordinary.

This event reminded me once again that nonprofit work isn’t about one person—it’s about the collective. It’s about showing up for each other and for a greater purpose. And with this team of strong, selfless women by my side, I know there’s no limit to what we can accomplish.
